Course Description
This webinar is the introductory presentation in a series of online education related to interprofessional education and interprofessional collaborative practice, developed by the Indiana University School of Nursing.
Course Objectives
After viewing the webinar, you will be able to:
- Describe the rationale for interprofessional collaborative practice (IPCP) in health care: benefits for patients and families, professionals, and health systems.
- Describe key componets of IPCP
- Discuss ways to develop IPCP skills in educational settings having more or less access to students in other health professions.
- Identify passageways to the development of IPCP in hospital and clinic settings
